7
rides, 7 prints and 1 documentary.
THE EXPERIENCE OF FLIEHKRAFT is
an art project on multiple levels. Since 2007 Till Nowak collected
footage from amusement parks and manipulated them. FLIEHKRAFT
is a video art project showing physically impossible amusement
rides. Like many of Nowaks projects it is a caricature of civilisation.
In todays fun parks people are centrifuged by gigantic robots
- an expression of our desire to escape and find happyness somewhere
else than in our reality.
Exhibitions of "The Experience of Fliehkraft":
4. -6. November 2011, Museum Prototyp, Hamburg
24. März - 26. April 2012, Kunstforum Markert, Hamburg
15. Juli bis September 2012, Bad Gastein, Österreich
September 2012, Seoul International Media Art Biennale, Korea
