7 rides, 7 prints and 1 documentary.

THE EXPERIENCE OF FLIEHKRAFT
is an art project on multiple levels. Since 2007 Till Nowak collected footage from amusement parks and manipulated them. FLIEHKRAFT is a video art project showing physically impossible amusement rides. Like many of Nowaks projects it is a caricature of civilisation. In todays fun parks people are centrifuged by gigantic robots - an expression of our desire to escape and find happyness somewhere else than in our reality.

Exhibitions of "The Experience of Fliehkraft":
4. -6. November 2011, Museum Prototyp, Hamburg
24. März - 26. April 2012, Kunstforum Markert, Hamburg
15. Juli bis September 2012, Bad Gastein, Österreich

September 2012, Seoul International Media Art Biennale, Korea

AN ART PROJECT ON MULTIPLE LEVELS

"The Ex
perience of Fliehkraft" is a series of 7 short videos showing impossible amusement rides, awarded with honorary mentions at ARS ELECTRONICA and SIGGRAPH, that go together with 7 fictional construction plans.

"The Centrifuge Brain Project" is a 7 minute fake documentary about the philosophical and scientific background of the project. [ More info here ]
